Salome's Progress

Salome, or better referred to as Hebi, is Boa Hancock's snake from One Piece. My room mate is so far the best Boa I've ever seen, but she doesn't have a snake like a few of them do. So, instead of making her a plushie to carry from con to con, I'm making the costume.....for me

Costume Details:
I made the skull out of a secret technique my friend told me about that makes it super light, but ultra durable....I'm not joking, I've beaten people with this thing and not even dented it! I painted it with a combonation of spray-paint, acrylic paint, and water paint. As well as did the details with sharpies.

The wig is the base for my Miku, I just don't put the pig-tail attachments in, and I've ordered a same colored feathered boa to go around my neck and down my back as his "hair".

The costume itself is a white spandex leotard from a dance hall, as well as 2 forms of binding underneath to make me as flat chested as scientifically possible (I've been dieting and excersizing non-stop so I don't need to bind my waist anymore ^_^). The spots/stripes are being painted on with a mix of acrylic paint and dimensional (puffy) paint. It's extremely flexible with no cracking and keeps an even tone no matter the amount of coats.
